Free summer movies....yes, I said FREE!

Nowadays, it's so expensive to take the whole family somewhere. We can easily drop $200.00 after just a few hours at an amusement park (and that's after we've bought season passes).

So needless to say, I was thrilled to find out that Regal theaters is continuing to offer their Free Family Film Festival this summer. It's free and it starts at the beginning of June and runs through the whole summer. Oh, and did I mention it's FREE?!

Just click -----> Regal Entertainment and then find your state and it will give you an entire list of various theaters where you live which are showing FREE movies, along with the show schedules.

Just so ya know...I haven't been paid to put this out here....I'm just a mom with 4 kids who loves anything FREE and I wanted to share it with you all, assuming you also love free stuff!

And yes, FREE is one of my favorite words, obviously.

What's up Chica? I miss you. I feel like we haven't talked in ages. Give me a call when you get a chance. We should catch up.

Summers are hell for moms. The kids are all around and you have to find ways to entertain them (of course, yours are too young to go to school, so you are doing summer all year long--but it isn't always like that. Hang in there).

We LOVED Regal's free movie days (never actually free, since we always bought popcorn).

I made good use of our local museums' family memberships, too.

Anything air conditioned was a plus. I even, occasionally, (GASP--please don't tell) loaded them all into the car and took them to the local McDonald's play palace.

I never said I was perfect.

I love FREE stuff too. I just know any minute the endorsement deals are going to come pouring in...

But it is very cool that Regal does this Free Movie deal because it's a great summer activity for kids and it's nice that it helps the parents' wallets.

I was so excited about this and I clicked the link to see where I could find it in my state and my state is not even a choice. How sad. :(

Boo hoo. Nothing for Kansas. We get discounted movie tickets for summer kids' movies at Dickinson Theaters though. $25 for 20 tickets isn't too bad.

Ooooh oooh oooh! LOVE free activities! Thank you so much for the heads up, Helene...hope you are well! (Love that picture of all the kids on the header!)

Thanks for sharing this Helene! I just wish one of the theatres near me was hosting the free movies. :(

If you hear of anymore great deals or freebies for families, please share!

Summer. Gah. It's always a long season for us. Trying to keep the four of them entertained especially for free is a Godsend. Match it up with 59 cent cheeseburgers at McD's on a Wednesday and you've got an ideal kid friendly, wallet friendly outing. I'm there.

Sheeees Baaaaack! just kidding!

I FINALLY (after a LONG week) am able to view your blog without being kicked out! WOOHOO!!

Ok, now for some comment love, my friend! :)

I think I might give this movie thing a try this summer. Ryan was only 2.5 last summer and I just had Kara so we didn't venture out to see a Free movie. Wish me luck! ;)

What a COOOOOOL tip!

Have you done it before?

If so, does it get packed and they turn people away?

We will have to drive a bit, but it would definately be worth it!

I figure that if the children are alive when my husband gets home at the end of the day, I've done my job.
