Last night, Cole and Bella were reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, which they just learned in their kindergarten class. I was impressed that they knew the whole thing, with the exception of certain words that were messed up, of course....making it that much enjoyable.
Here's their version:
I pledge allegiance to the flag
of the United
Steaks Of America
and to the
publix for which it stands
one nation under God
individualWith liberty and justice for all

That is funny! Kids say the cutest things. The pledge is pretty hard for Kindergarten I think they did a good job.
That was cute! I remember mine all saying it that way!
Also, thanks for stopping by my blog to see if everything was alright, we didn't have a home computer for a few months so, I couldn't post. Little did I know, that I could have been blogging from my Blackberry the whole time. Although, that's not for me.
I hope you come back to visit me. I have missed reading your blog!!!

Too cute! I'm going to have to teach it to my daughter.
Ya go Cole and Bella!!! We raise black Angus beef here on the Ponderosa and we are all for the United Steaks of America. Too cute!!! You have a gorgeous family there, you have been richly blessed. Sweetie, I'm sure that spark is still there...probably just buried under the exhaustion. We work on the spark and my goodness girl your plate is more than full right now. Ya'll have yourselves a blast this weekend and enjoy one another. Sending blessings your way.......

When I was in elementary school, one of the teachers gave out a paper with the funnies kiddie versions of the Pledge of Allegiance.
Such as...
"I led the pigeons to the flag..."
"...and to the republic for witches hands..."
"...with little tea and just rice for all."
:D
The United Steaks of America... I love that!!! I'm picturing slabs of steaks all across the map.
