Important lessons from an experienced mother of twins...

One of my blogging buddies, Christina, recently asked me to write a guest post for her wonderful blog, Our Life with Multiples.

Christina is the mother of beautiful twin girls, who keep her running in circles on most days.  Unafraid of telling it like it is, she often relies on humor to help her focus on the sunny side of motherhood.

When reading her posts, sometimes I find myself laughing out loud, only because I can completely relate to her on so many levels.  And then other times, my eyes fill with tears when she has written something sentimental, perhaps about her baby girls growing up too quickly or fears she has as a parent.

It was an honor for me to write a guest post for Christina.  It would make my day if you'd stop by and read it HERE...and while you're there, be sure to click that follow button and become a regular reader of her blog.

I'm on my way. If she's half as funny as you I know it'll be a good read.

Hi Helene.

Baby boy keeps me from blogging frequently (or reading anyone elses for that matter!), but I just wanted to drop by and say hi.

I just read "Chaperoning a Field Trip" and laughed my butt off. I can relate...not b/c I've done the parent thing yet, but because I was the TEACHER on those god-awful trips. Try taking 20+ 8/9-year olds to the museum of art and explaining why we don't point at the Statue of David's privates!!! LOL

I am off to read your guest post...before I've got to release the milk faucets.

Take care,

Great post! I laughed out loud at the reminder of that sweet syrup smell...I don't think I'll ever think of Sunday morning breakfast in the same way again! HA!

What a wonderful post! I just read it.
Girl, I have to tell you, the boob nazis practically chased me down when they found out I wasn't breast feeding my babies. I mean, it was a long story as to why, but they don't wanna hear it!

I figure that if the children are alive when my husband gets home at the end of the day, I've done my job.
