There's just one thing you should know about me....

I don't do well with change.  As in, I seriously dislike it.  I may even HATE change.  Strong word, I know.

However, sometimes I realize change is necessary in order to improve things for the better.  I'm not wild about the process but because I know that something much more amazing awaits, I have to do it.

Along those lines, I've bitten the bullet and finally did what so many other bloggers have suggested ....I've gotten my own custom domain, www.twosetsoftwins.com.

My blog title will remain the same and it will still be hosted by blogger because...well, let's face it, changing platforms AND a domain would surely send me over the edge and my family can't afford for me to lose any more brain cells than I've already lost.

So if you have me on your blogroll and/or I've been featured or written any guest posts on your blog, I would LOVE it if you'd update the old link with my new one.

Gotta get all my page ranks back up again the old fashioned way...3.5 years worth of work gone with one stroke on the keyboard.

But I know it'll be worth it in the long run.

I'm also working with Laura at Eight Day Designs to help update the look of my blog!  While I completely love everything about my current look, it's time for a change.

Have I already mentioned how much I dislike change?

But I know it'll be worth it in the long run.  Wait, I think I said that already, too.

In changing my domain, I lost all my "awesome blogs" on my blogroll.  I will definitely be updating that and if you'd like to be included, please let me know in the comments or e-mail me!

Hopefully, by the end of this week, all the kinks will be worked out and I'll be back to blogging...in style!!!

Great! Can't wait to see the changes. I've liked the last two that you have done. I think I still come to your blog expecting to see the black polka dots and red bows (that's my best recollection of it)... that one made a bold statement with color. The current one I love because of the way the photos stand out ... can't wait to see the next one.

I'll only ask to be put back on your blog list if I start to actually blog again :P

Hope you're having a great weekend...

Congrats on having your own domain!

I don't do well with change either, but sometimes it works out. I can't wait to see your new look.

I have my domain name that I bought ages ago, but haven't decided what to do with it. I've often considered self-hosting and so have been saving it for that, but now I am getting lazy and am wondering whether I should just bite the bullet and use it on my blogspot hosted site.

Have updated your link on my blogroll, but it was still turning up there anyway.

You're doing something I'm too afraid (lazy?) to do--good luck with the new site! I'm sure you'll survive the change, and be even bigger and better!!

What?! Wait a minute! You can't just spring stuff like that on me. I can't take it.

Seriously, I can relate. One of my blogs is being slowly and painfully switched over to Wordpress. Slowly and painfully.

your awesome blogs are back but *ahem* I'm not there :(

I'd usually tell you some thing positive about change being good but HELL, web stuff stresses me out BIG time.

I don't know who that person is who said change is as good as a holiday. I need a holiday after a change :)

Okay enough already!

Congrats on the domain - can't wait to see the new look :)

I'll definitely update you. I've been needing to update my blogroll anyway. I changed mine too a few months ago and it killed me just to start over with my whopping 29 followers! I'm back up to 21. Don't be jealous. :) But I had reasons too for changing over. It was kind of pain but then not too bad I guess. But I figured better sooner than later. Yes, please keep me on your blogroll too!

Yes, there is something cool about dropping the blogspot. I am glad I did it :)
And would love to be included on your blog role. I need to update my blog too

you would think with a husband in the Army I would handle change better but i still HATE it no matter what

I figure that if the children are alive when my husband gets home at the end of the day, I've done my job.
