Want to Know Wednesdays...Celebrating the Small Victories

                                 Hosted by MamarazziQueso and Crazymama

{1} What is for dinner tonight (bonus for sharing the recipe)?

Pork loin, orzo with parmesan and basil and some type of veggie.

The pork loin is to die for!  I put a rub of various spices and extra virgin olive oil on it and roast it for about 90 minutes.  It's super juicy and so tasty.

The orzo is delicious too!  Found the recipe online and pinned it!  If you want to check it out, here's a link...

{2} Share something you are currently looking forward to.

Actually, there are two things I'm looking forward to.

One is our annual Disneyland trip this year in May!  But this time, we're not telling the kids about it until the day we leave.  They're gonna be so super excited!!!

I'm also looking forward to the construction on our home being completed.  It's been so chaotic around here, trying to keep track of the construction schedule and trying to keep the kids out of the workers' way.

It's a wonder no one's lost an arm or a leg yet.  The workers, I mean.

{3} What are your thoughts on re-gifting?

You know, my attitude is whatever works for you.

And if you're assuming I've done it before based on that answer,  you'd be right.

But it was a super nice gift that was re-gifted and that has to count for something.

{4} How often do you rearrange your furniture?

Actually, quite often.  I get tired of seeing the same things in the same place.  So I'm constantly moving things around and switching everything up.

Plus, it irritates the kids.

It's payback.  What can I say?

{5} Share a picture from your cellphone or camera.

How sweet is this??

We had gone out to dinner and as we were being lead to our table, Garrett and Cole had their arms around each other.

Of course,  not 5 minutes later, they were attempting to spit on one another so you can see why I have to celebrate the small victories as they come.

Because they don't happen often.

Oh and small PS - Some of you asked what the name of the book was in one of my previous posts but you left no e-mail in your profile or any other way to get in touch with you so it's Night Road by Kristin Hannah. Registered & Protected

Heck, I love to move things around just to keep Farm Boy on his toes, I wouldn't want him to get bored or anything!!!

I have been known to regift occasionally but ya better be darn careful!

Awwwwww, brotherly's great even if it is short lived.

God bless and have a fabulous day! :o)

The kids are going to be so excited about Disneyland! My cousin just told me they are going there in May also. They leave the 24th. They've been to Disney World, but this will be their first time at Disney Land.

That's a cute picture of the boys!

Love that picture! And dinner looked delish! I'm getting more and more "interested" in Pinterest. You can insert "addicted" in where "interested" is.

That is an adorable picture! I like your idea of moving furniture to piss off the kids. I might have to try that.

How cool that you're going to surprise the kids with the Disney trip!!! That in itself will be such an awesome memory for them, I'm sure.

[I don't tell the girls about anything ahead of time...although for a different reason right now...I'm afraid they won't sleep! ;)]

And love that picture! You're so right...gotta cling to the small victories!

I'm excited for your trip to Disneyland too! I hope we can work it out to meet up. :-)

And that picture of Cole and Garrett is really sweet. You just have to capture moments like that since they're so fleeting.

Number one makes me hate you.
No I don't.
I love you.
I'm eating soup...from a can courtesy of the gallbladder.
I haven't rearranged my furniture in years.
Hmmm so you say it irritates the kids?

I love rearranging the furniture...preferably when everyone is out (hmm, doesn't often happen for some reason!)so that when they get back they have a 'lovely' suprise and an excuse to eye roll!I blame my mother, she did it to me growing up.

Your trip sounds great...very jealous although i would shake in fear to go anywhere like that with the girls at the moment anyway, lol!

Love that to grab those angelic moments for sure ...before you forget, hehe. said...

Oh, my, goodness,
the kids will freak out when you tell them about your cool surprise.

I can just imagine the kids shrieking with joy at the Disneyland surprise. So fun! And for moving the furniture, I like to do that once a week. It can get really boring without this weekly movement. LOL.

Ok. I'm reading, commenting... and - enjoying some alone time with NCIS.. you you will understand if I get right to the point.
1. you are like my soul sister.
2. I love the idea for Disney. totally awesome. Want us to come too? It only sounds sort of stalkerish... ok a lot stalkerish.
3. I re-gift all the time. All. The. Time.
and 4. I would re-arrange my furniture, but I'm too lazy. :)

I figure that if the children are alive when my husband gets home at the end of the day, I've done my job.
